As Chief Product Officer, Dan Hess is responsible for global product management and development. He oversees NPD’s flagship consumer and retail/distributor tracking services spanning more than 20 industries and leads the continued evolution of NPD’s product portfolio based on new and enhanced data and technology covering more markets worldwide.
Most recently, Dan was Chief Product Officer at Comscore, where he led a global organization in the design, delivery, management, and support of all company products and custom analysis services. Previously, he co-founded and led a startup that created an omnichannel predictive modeling and personalization platform and was later acquired by Catalina Marketing. Earlier in his career Dan held various product, commercial, and operational leadership roles at Tribune Digital and IRI. Dan has served as an advisor to several technology and analytics startups, and as a speaker, analyst, and advisor for numerous industry and academic organizations and media outlets. He holds a B.A. degree from the University of Rochester.
