“The overarching theme driving sales within the outdoor and sporting goods markets continues to revolve around staying fit and active while socially distant. While this trend has shined since March, different products are rising to the top of the fastest-growing list month over month. In December, consumers continued to invest in product for outdoor activity, with those such as golf nets and screens as well as trainers/rollers, hockey training aids, and swinging and putting mats also providing the option to extend the season indoors. In purchasing Pilates reformers and other home fitness equipment, consumers continue to invest in various equipment they would typically be using in a gym or studio. The growth in portable power tells us that consumers are extending their home into their yards and hitting the trails, bringing the modern day essentials along with them.”
