This year, our increased role as Content Partner for the event means you can hear the latest on what’s happening in foodservice during engaging sessions presented by The NPD Group’s Global Foodservice Industry Expert Bob O’Brien and Australia Foodservice Director Ciara Clancy.
Bob will discuss foodservice markets across APAC, Europe, and the Americas. What makes Australia different? Where does Australia stand within global foodservice? What are your opportunities given this global comparison? He’ll also provide a look at the different trends that have been driving growth in foodservice markets worldwide and how Australia stacks up against them.
A number of emerging trends of global interest will be analysed, such as mobile ordering and growing issues like cocooning and the use of aggregators for delivery. Operators are in a position to alter the current forecast but will need to differentiate from the competition. Join us to find out how to stay ahead in Australia.
Ciara Clancy, Director of Australia Foodservice, will present "Delivery/Pick-Up: A Growing Opportunity." You will discover that eating in is the new eating out! Consumers want the ‘eat out’ experience of quality food, but they’re saving money by having food delivered to their homes. The increase in consumers eating their meals at home has resulted in delivery/pick-up reaching its highest point in 2016 since CREST® tracking began.
Taking advantage of the increasing popularity of delivery will provide many operators with another avenue to drive traffic. What’s driving it and what are the things you need to consider to leverage this opportunity? Get the experts’ perspective – Bob and Ciara will combine their industry insight with detailed data to explore it in full.
You'll leave this engaging session with new ideas on how to strengthen your market position and succeed!
