Kristen Classi-Zummo is a manager and industry analyst covering fashion apparel on The NPD Group’s Market Insights team. She provides deep data analysis based on her industry expertise, offering thoughtful insights into the present and future of fashion and retail. Kristen presents industry trends to manufacturers and retailers, including state of the industry presentations and white-space opportunity analyses.
Kristen joined NPD in 2015 as a manager on the Product team, working within the Softlines segment. Previously, she was a senior manager of product development/design for men’s and women’s Blue Label apparel at Ralph Lauren.
Kristen holds a Master’s degree in Global Fashion Management and a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology. While attaining her graduate degree, she studied apparel production in China and the luxury goods business in Paris.
