Director - Connected Intelligence
Weston serves as a Director for The NPD Group’s Connected Intelligence practice. In this role, he has a focus on wearable products, applications, and technologies in addition to tracking the U.S. mobile services and devices space. As part of his specific wearables tracking, Weston is responsible for the creation of several distinct reports that not only track the major wearable products on the market, but also look to provide clients with meaningful analysis through consumer surveys and in-depth industry research. Weston also works directly with clients, advising them on key developments and industry shifts that could have a significant impact on their business.
Weston has more than 15 years of experience tracking the mobile services and devices space and is frequently quoted and interviewed by leading industry and national media outlets. Prior to joining NPD, Weston served as a leading U.S. mobile analyst at Current Analysis and Forrester Research.
He has also worked for Qualcomm Inc. in Product Management and Strategic Marketing.
Weston holds a BA from Connecticut College with a double major in Economics and History.
