PORT WASHINGTON, NEW YORK, June 30, 2015 – The NPD Group, Inc., a global information company, has hired John Bremer as Senior Vice President, Research Science. He will be based in Port Washington, NY, reporting to George Terhanian, Group President and Chief Research and Analytics Officer.
As head of the Research Science group, Bremer will lead the team that designs, maintains, defends, and enhances the methodologies behind the products at The NPD Group. Bremer brings with him sophisticated statistical skills, deep survey methodology expertise, business acumen, and international management experience.
Most recently, he worked for Toluna as Group Chief Research and Strategy Officer. Earlier in his career, he was at Harris Interactive, where he played an instrumental role in the company’s rapid growth in the U.S. and Europe through his efforts to reduce any biases associated with online research. John also served as Chief Research Officer for Compete (now Millward Brown Digital).

John Bremer is an active member of the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) and Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO) and has been a regular contributor to Survey Magazine and MediaPost.
