Port Washington, NY, September 14, 2015 – The NPD Group has hired Lori Gerber, an IBM veteran with 17 years of experience in solution-based selling, as Senior Vice President, Sales for North America. She will be based in the firm’s Port Washington, NY Headquarters and will report to Tim Bush, group president, Americas Commercial Businesses.
As SVP, Sales, Gerber will be responsible for developing and leading NPD’s sales strategy, including the firm’s new capabilities in advanced modeling and analytic services, and core industry tracking and premium services, spanning more than 20 industries in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Prior to joining NPD, Gerber established a successful track record in building business and developing high performing sales teams at IBM. Most recently she was Director of WW Systems and Channel Financing with responsibility for Financing IBM’s Systems solutions, as well as driving new geography and product initiatives.
