Port Washington, NY, March 13, 2018 – The NPD Group, a global provider of information and advisory services, today announced David Meer has joined the company’s Analytic Solutions group as SVP, Analytic Solutions Research and Development, effective immediately. He will report to Brian Smith, EVP, Analytic Solutions.
In this role, Meer will be responsible for enhancing and evolving the strategy and roadmap for NPD’s analytics capabilities, collaborating with clients and NPD teams to develop scalable, high-impact solutions.
Before joining NPD, Meer was a Partner and Practice Leader for the Strategic Customer Analytics division of PwC Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company). Prior to that, he was a Partner at strategy consulting firm Marakon Associates; Worldwide Chairman of MindShare’s Advanced Techniques Group, the global media agency’s marketing analytics division; and Senior Partner, Director of Branding Intelligence at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide. Earlier in his career, Meer worked at NPD, serving in several key roles, including President of the Telecommunications Group.
