The NPD Group Announces Winners of This Year’s Consumer Electronics Industry Performance Awards

Las Vegas, NV, January 8, 2018The NPD Group, a leading global information company, announced today the winners of this year’s Consumer Electronics Industry Performance Awards at their annual reception during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The awards were given to consumer electronics brands that achieved the top increase in market share in North America1, according to NPD’s Retail Tracking Service; as well as the fastest turning brand per item in the U.S.2, according to NPD’s Store-Level Enabled data.

Additionally, this year’s awards included top e-commerce revenue achievers3 in key consumer electronics industry segments and the top e-commerce CE performer among “tech super consumers”4. These awards were based on NPD’s Checkout, a receipt mining service, which captures online sales of consumer electronics from consumer receipts.
